I was motoring along on the dyke of the north shore of the Fraser River in the Queensborough area of New Westminster BC when my car crossed the 160,000km mark (100,000 miles).

 

Pulled in my driveway one night.

 

Yes I do. I was on 270 at 33 doing 70. I remember putting my first mile on too. There was 8 on the speedo when I took delivery. Congrats on your milestone Jeff.

I was on the Brent Spence bridge between Covington KY and Cincinnati OH. I was going to a Bengals game in Dec 2009.

 

Mine will be in the future since I am only at 82 K right now on an 06.

Maybe I can hit 100 K on the Dragon next year and join the club.

 

Jan had just tuned my MINI and I took it for a test drive on 28. What a great way to hit 100k!

 

At my current pace it will take almost 4 more years before I hit 100K miles.

 

Just make sure it is at the dragon.

 

While my wife usually drives her Mini (Clover), a 2006 S hardtop, I have accumulated a healthy batch of miles on it, including 8000 last summer in MTTS

As she was approaching 100K, I begged her to record the momentous occasion on her iphone...this is what I got....oh well lol



P.S. If she let me take it to the Dragon, I would have seem the magic number somewhere in NC or TN!

Southbound on US101 in Oregon a few miles south of Bandon, OR, on 6/23/2013 going home from MMW in Bend.

 

Thankfully my MCS is nowhere near 100K. Though I do have a pic of my old 94 Honda Del Sol VTEC turning over 200K at 100 MPH. The pic was taken by my passenger as that woulda been way too risky to do myself. Though at this point, I think only my buddy has a copy of it now. Damn, that was almost 10 years ago.

 

Well as I only have about 50K after almost 10 yrs of driving....................you guess when

At just over 98,000, so not far to go! Just can't break him at the track anymore...:blush2:

 

Let's see, at current rate it'll be 2017...I plan to be in Maui posting from the beach...
