Just swapped out most of the CHROME trim on my MCS. I had Mark, AKA Orangecrush, prep and paint the parts. I had ordered all my replacement parts from Hendrick's Mini in North Carolina. Easy to call them, order the parts and have them deliver to Mark's shop, saves freight one way! I can't say enough about the quality of Mark's work, and his professionalism... After he completed them, he shipped them to me (Denver) and within 15 min, they were on! A SIMPLE, and easy mod, and now I have more spare parts... I sent him the bumper tow cover so that he could nail the color match tinting, Perfect! This is the list of Part Numbers my 2012 used: Headlight Rings- 51137149905/06 Taillight Rings- 51132752243/44 Outer Gas Cap- 51177148885 (16117222391) Door Handles (no comfort access)- 51217198471/72 Grill Surround, upper- 51132751040 Grill Surround, lower- 51117209904 Still have the door handles to install- I'll do those when I do the SoundStage upgrade. http://www.motoringalliance.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif JCW grill surround is a different P/N,, I think...
Very nice work! It's the kind of mod that I love to see... something that the general public will never notice, but the MINI lover will walk by and nod their head in appreciation.
Looks great!... Sometimes the blackout is a bit much unless it's well-integrated. I prefer the bodycolor. Ice Blue is a great color, too, IMO.
Looks great. My 1 suggestions is to cover anything that was painted on the front end that can and willl get rocks chips in some kinda of paint protectant film..
