    How old is the battery?

    Do your gauges bounce when you put the key in and turn to the start position?

    Is there any water on the passenger side carpet?

    Have you tried the interior lock switch to see if that is working properly?

    If that is working properly, then I'd be suspect of the key fob battery.

    it's not working correctly either. This is the wifes car and she said it has been fine other than the trunk lid not opening
