Not necessarily an off reading trail but there is a dirt/gravel road that I found last year. If you go down 129 past the Dragon toward Robbinsville, on the right somewhere down there the road goes across a bridge and up into the hills. Pretty cool. I drove it to the end (hiking trail head)
