Last year Snooter changed a few things for me after registration. Don't know how much trouble it was, but he was great about doing it.

Save Snooter as much work as you can and try to register so you don't have to make changes. He's already got enough work to do.

Welcome Dinner
Farewell Dinner
Brewswap
Bingo
Draggin Dragons (pinecar race).
After that there are tons of pay as you go or free events that you can sign up via the "Schedule" page -
It looks like you can schedule for the dinners and such first and then later sign up for the 'drives' from the schedule. Is that correct?

Some drives fill up fast and had filled up by the time I registered last year. Since I had waited to register until I knew exactly which pre-paid activities I wanted to do, I didnt register until late February and lost out on the opportunity to go on some drives. I was hoping to avoid that this year hence my original question. But I do see some people signed up for activities but not yet registered. That makes me think the system allows for you to sign up for drives and some activities without first registering which would be another solution for those, like me, that arent quite decided on all pre-paid activities but know they want to do other, specific activities. They can then register when they have their pre-paid activities decided and wont be making extra work for Snooter. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong. -
I was able to register for the welcome/farewell dinners and the brewswap for my boyfriend. Also registered for the Cherohala Drive because my boyfriend really wants to go on it... Hope a spirited drive on it is ok for a 'newb'. As a resident of the laurel highlands, I don't think i'm truely a newb to twisty roads.

last year I opened up the day drives couple of months early than registration itself. That meant several day drives filled up by the time registration even opened. This year I decided to open both at the same time. We'll see how that works for everyone.
But yes, there are independent. You can sign up for day drives that are on the schedule tab without having registered yet.
Usually some folks will ask to add a new drive between now and the event. I'll be sending out periodic emails letting you all know as that happens, so make sure you are on the email list. I know there is a Biltmore trip in the works and Frisbee Golf too so far. -
Well that explains how quickly some things filled up. I didnt even know about MOTD until after registration had opened last year!
Just knowing that I can sign up for non-prepaid events before registering eliminates my need to *rush* to sign up to get in on some limited activities and, therefore, will (hopefully) eliminate my need to possibly change stuff in the future. Thanks for confirming that Snooter!
Glad to hear Frisbee Golf may be coming back. Tom wanted to do that last year but we ended up having a conflict.
