Resprayed the JCW spoiler I picked up... again. Much better the second the time around.

 

It does look good. Now get those winter tractor tires off and get that spoiler mounted.

Its SPRING my brother. :lol:

 

Dave.0 gave the exterior of the car a little TLC last weekend. I put on my summer tires and carpet shampoo and vacuum will happen this weekend. Last things - alignment and possibly new tires!

 

The next one is easier.

 

Washed today and removed all my belt line trim to clean the dirt from under it.



Ok I did not remove the trim to clean under it. I am not that OCD.

I am stripping them down and refinishing them since the paint is 3 years old and not looking as good as it used to.

 

Made a few adjustments to the suspension last night, and hoping to get it all dialed in over the weekend if it doesn't rain. The new tires should do good on the Dragon.

 

And more complications...The car is in Ohio--the seller is in Key Largo, Fl. He was to come back tonight. He rents a car to get him to the Miami airport. That car had a dead battery. Nuff said...

He will be back in town on Saturday and I will be getting the title work done early Monday morning. At the same time I had an appt for maintenance. . Oh well, at least I'll be able to get new tires and an alignment before I leave on Wed. AND I WILL LEAVE...

I'm starting my packing now. Cleaned the car out, loading the iPod, washing my detail stuff, getting my clothes ready.

Doing 2 doubles and a 10 hour shift to make up for lost hours this week.

 

Wheels up in 52 hours.

 

MINI waxed and clean, bags packed, weather good, leaving noon Monday after wife teaches her morning classes. Overnight in Nashville area and be there mid-day Tuesday. Safe travels everyone.

I am planing on staying in Fontana, unless I get all my carp done and have a house down there by then!

 

Just trying to be reaalllyyyy patient. :wink: My MINI is pretty much ready to go, save for the wash & wax the weekend before I depart. Mentally, I'm already there: driving the roads in my head & eagerly awaiting the first adult beverages with many friends! :beer:
