It sure got quiet all of a sudden. Hope everyone is having a good time.

Looking at the weather forecast - I may be leaving earlier tonight than planned. Probably hitting the road around 11, get down there before the rain starts tomorrow. Hopefully.
My luck, it'll rain the whole way down.-

OOPS, forgot to ask a question. I come from traveling long distances in air-cooled VW's and won't leave home without a spare fan belt, a 10mme and 13mm wrench, rotor, distributor cap, and a Bentley manual. What spares do you experienced travelers carry in your mini?
As I'm a noob and don't want to hi-jack a thread, if this would be a subject for a new thread, please let me know. -
Thanks. -

Out of a MINI and into a...? -
Oh but the new Corvette's are very nice....
But there is a problem. They're so good, they get boring on the track after awhile. The car won't let you screw up, try as you might. It drives you as much as you drive it. That's the big turn-off for me on virtually all the newer cars--M3's, Vette's, etc. Maybe I'll get smoked by them at the track, maybe on occasion I'll smoke them. But on the days I win, I know I did it without the Viagra like mechanical crutches those other guys used.... -
lets see what am i doing...well my classic is on its way to the shop in florida for final work including some new Bilstein sport shocks, new clutch master cylinder, full service and getting the rear suspension and subframe outfitted with poly bushings
