MINI of Loveland has a GP2 with less than 3000 miles on the clock... They still want $32K for it though...

 

I need to do a full detail yet - but I'll wait until after I get home from MOTD to do that.

I picked mine up last July from an Audi dealer in Chicago with 3500 miles for $30k, and they gave me $1.5k more for my trade in than the appraised value. I was satisfied.

 

Twelve days and counting till I pick up my new-to-me MINI and then head to the Dragon. I'm so psyched my wife refuses to listen to me anymore about it...

 

I remembered this morning I need to pick up a spare tire and a spacer for this trip.

Luckily someone's selling a spare locally.

Got up at six this morning to fire up the grill and smoke some chicken and sausage. Went to the grocery store to buy coffee, poptarts and a fluffernutter kit. Hit the ATM and packed the car. Leaving in 14 hours. Should make Fontana by 4:00 or 5:00 Sunday afternoon.

 

I just realized, no matter what happens - I'll be driving the dragon in the next 2 weeks.

One option has me in the GP, the other... in an Isuzu Trooper from California. :lol:

Looks like I'm bringing the GP and running for donuts - dealer I was negotiating with on the Trooper wouldn't budge much on price.

Was planning on flying out to Cali and driving it back, though - would've made a pit-stop in the Fontana area for an overnight on the way back. Had a buddy of mine check it out in person even.

You do know about the Isuzu 3.5 V6 and all the broken cranks right?

Thats how I got my 2001 VehiCross with a brand new motor!

 

But how many DuraMax owners know they have an Isuzu engine?

 

The black one is all waxed,detailed,fueled up,checked out and packed.

Will be meeting some other C3M members in the a.m. for the trip down.
