Exterior 2nd Gen Driving light wiring help

    Whoa. That's intense.

    Thanks for the bit about the cigarette lighter. The R56 center console is one of the easiest to remove of all the cars I've worked on. I wired it up but couldn't get any voltage, so I checked all the fuses and splices again, nothing blown. I found another thread on the sewing site listing the fuses (google hot or not), and apparently the cigarette lighter is on a different supply circuit (15). My roommate was sleeping above the garage, so I couldn't start the car and test the lights, so I just said screw it and put everything back together. Sure enough, supply circuit 15 only works when the car is running. That's gonna make me think twice about a push button stop-start in my next car.
