I like all MINIs, Minis, Austin Minis and all the various variants.

I even like most of the people that own them too. Which says a lot considering I am an ass hole introvert that would rather ponder my own navel lint than be sociable most of the time.

Don't worry about your CVT. I've heard repair parts are becoming available should the need arise.

Not with the R53 fanboys. They're still furious about the R56 and Countryman.

    Ok my review:
Look at the top picture then look at the bottom.

Do you see the ugly now in picture #1?

Now look at picture # 2 the just make you smile.

I would take either one the cars below all day long.

Good man Crash. Don't tell anyone but, not only do I have a Juasta, it has chrome on it too. :D

What folks think of the F56, or say about it really makes no difference to me. Everyone views things in a different light and they are free to point this out. My only problem is that some just can't let it alone and we keep hearing the same old crap, over and over and over. The F56 is what it is, so they need to get over it or buy something else and move on.

We use our four wheel drive for parking in pastures at horse shows, that can tend to be muddy and none of your horses play soccer. AWD is a must, when one lives on a farm.

TheModFather I agree that some of us like to venture where a Mini won't go.

So you are saying they were still wrapped in MINI condoms so they don't breed with other MINI's. :p

Good to know. Can't understand why the S needs one. Seems adding an extra cylinder would make it sound good with no need for paux engine sounds.

Jim you are tough. I only get 1/2 credit for my essay.

I wonder if there is anything preventing a potential Darwin Award winner from giving the release two quick pulls while traveling down the freeway at 70 mph?

Something to try on your next test drive (at 10 mph)...

Not me I stuck with the tried & true oem one. Maybe Craven will come out with a dipstick retrofit kit.

BMW/MINI probably figured most customers don't bother opening their bonnet & pulling the dipstick anyway. Before long hoods on cars will be sealed with a lable on it that reads (NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE call 1-800 Break My Wallet to schedule a tow):frown2:

No oil dip stick is just stupid. :mad2: if a person can not change a flat or even check the oil you should not be able to drive. Damn people are lazy.

How long before we have an App that tells you your low on oil and you need to come to the dealership to add a $20.00 Quart?

I was thinking if they gave the gen3 a "little blue pill" it might harden it up a bit...folks ARE complaining it has been softened too much....:cornut:

Ok your situations are both different and require AWD 4 Wheel drive I agree.

But do Soccer Moms need AWD? Do so many people in this country need 4 or AWD? :rolleyes5: Nope, no farms in the big cities like NYC. People buy it because it will make them better drivers and they will be safer in ice and snow storms and we all know that's not true.

How many AWD SUV's did we all pass this winter in out little 2wd MINI's? (Lots)
