I agree completely Dave. It is amazing how many you see in the city, with head light guards, push bars etc, that have never left the pavement. My old boss, in Baltimore, called them "Urban Assault Vehicles". :D :D

Justa Jim don't you know this is the age of knowing how to get things done? Just pop a blue pill and hitch those horses to your truck and let them pull you out of the mud.

I hope that my Chili Red R50 Justa lasts for a good many years, because I won't be buying one of those fugly things. How to take a great concept and screw it up in one easy lesson.

Well I could go test drive one with a bunch of other R53 guys and even the score easy.

The only problem is I would want to crash it into a tree just to test the new front end.:ihih::lol:

Yes the MA told me about hand dents in the bonnet. I told him how all old MBGs had palm sized dents on their aluminium bonnets. He's a young guy so MGB didn't ring a bell for him. Wonder how many warranty claims for dents MINI will get? The 2 pull to open the bonnet is an odd one for sure. As is no dipstick.

Adding 4 big lights up front isn't going to disguise that bumper-car schnozzola. In fact it may very well draw folks attention to it.

Yep in pictures the nose looks bigger & in person it really does too. Not sure what is worse the big extended bumper-car nose or the giant taillights. Lots of stuff I didn't like, but the drive I did like.

Don many like yourself will buy & enjoy them. It is still a MINI just a homely one. Things change life goes on & so it goes..... :deadhorse:

    Short rant!

I'm sick of stupid people that won't check their oil. Then blame others "well I don't know how". That's where this comes from.

    End of rant!

    For now

Let's start a pool, to guess who gets high blood pressure, over the F56 and has a stroke first. Some of you are in the top running right now.

Every one of those has a giant nose. I can understand not picking it out. If it was in a line of R56s or R53s you sure would spot it.

No stoke for me Jim. I'm quite happyto not have wanted one & been upset with what others are saying about it. Any folks that like them shouldn't worry what others think. Enjoy your new F56.

Heck Jim i have chrome on my MINI, yes I said it chrome for God's sake! :D We all know chrome ain't cool. Well it is justa to me.

I think you may be wrong about that & why do you think they are furious? Folks can not like something & not be furious or fast.

Let the stoneings begin......I went to MAG today and looked at, sat in, and drove the F56. I like it.
Do I like it better than the R53.....no. Do I think it ruins the brand.....no. Is it as ugly as its said to be....no.
OK, now I'm holding on....just keep in mind that I'm an old guy :)
