That's dual tandem power as opposed to MINI twin power right there....

And look.... No "Dynamic Stability Control" nanny needs to be turned off either...:D

Ft MYers Mini had a Justa in last week and I saw it going through the transport service and it is very ugly. Guess they just got in an S yesterday. I have to have windo seal replaced today on my R56, so I am curious to see the new ugly duck F56S.

So I just got back from the mini deal. A young salesman helped me, I mean young. very polity I was impressed. I asked about the 3rd gen he told me they had two in the back. So we went back to look at them, thats when his phone rang. It was his boss. He wasn't pleased that I was being shown the cars because they can't sale then. I told the salesman that, that only applied to the pooper. Oh sorry Cooper. Anyway they still had the wrappers on them so it was hard to tell. He was excited about them, even ordered a S for himself.
Got back to my Mini and he wanted to take a look at it, asked a few questions.
Nice guy said he would call when I can drive one.

So you are saying they were still wrapped in MINI condoms so they don't breed with other MINI's. :p

This is true MM, no nanny's, ECU or what not, BUT just because you step on the gas or the break or try to turn left or right, there is NO guarantee that any of those things will actually happen. :D

actually yes I did but now seeing them again in person, I am calling them a pregnant guppy. I watched them use the park assistance on the S model and it's all well and good, for those who do not know how to parallel park, but DAMN it takes to long for it to park. It was liking watching the old snowbirds here in Florida walk across the parking lot at Walmart. Even with that, I am still not a HUGE fan of the car.

Oh my gosh!!!!!! I have not been on NAM in over a year, but thought I would check out what they were saying about the F56. I could not believe that it was NOT getting bashed there as badly as it is here. How can that possibly be true????? :D

Well, DUH, Jim. Nathan drives an R53, and many R53 owners left NAM, perhaps in part because of that fact. Guess that means you'll be headed back to NAM now?

I'm not sure I understand this Jeff. I thought NAM was the unfriendly MINI site. So, are you saying that all the R53 folks came here, which made NAM friendlier? :D

I'm just saying that M/A began with a lot of R53 owners and it seems lately that the R53 people are not big fans of the Gen 2 and Gen 3 cars. NAM may well be friendlier to post Gen 1 owners...I don't know. I'm happy here in M/A, but then, I own 3 Gen 1 cars.:D

I like all MINIs, Minis, Austin Minis and all the various variants.

I even like most of the people that own them too. Which says a lot considering I am an ass hole introvert that would rather ponder my own navel lint than be sociable most of the time.
