Friday Night Special
---------------------
Take one Nalgene bottle, fill halfway with ice. Add 4-6 ounces of vodka (3-5 shots). Add one small can of Red Bull. Top off with orange juice (pulp per your preference). Shake. Strain into glass with lid of bottle or drink straight from bottle. Sugar, caffeine, booze, and vitamin C - everything you need to get up and go.

redbull? ewww.. straight vodka sounds much better.

goaljnky New MemberI am with you, brother. I've had Red Bull once. Can't drink the potion. And it ruins good vodka.

I'm halfway through a case of Yuengling Lager looking forward to our first precip of the season. Cheers!

Red Bull ruins bad vodka, that stuff is just flat out gross.

I've had some pretty bad vodka that Red Bell seems to help. I once made the mistake of drinking nothing but Red Bull and Vodka one night since it was a special. Besides a strong desire to drunk-dial a dentist (actually there was a hot dental assistant at the bar so that wouldn't have been a bad idea) I got to experience the transition from drunk to hung-over without the benefit or ability to sleep.

Yeah, drinking Red Bull all night is not a good idea - learned that lesson, too. But on a Friday night after you've been working all week, sometimes it's a challenge to turn it around and head out for the night. All that caffeine and sugar just hits the spot. No, it doesn't taste nearly as good as a smooth amber ale (I'm thinking Fat Tire here), but it gets the job done. It's a great pregame drink, especially with the ladies.

Ah, you young bucks.
Us married folks don't need any pregame help We actually get to sleep. :confused5:
