Dubai seems to be the happening place these days, as I see the name all over the place on the WRC. The other day I ordered a pair of reproduction WWI, wool riding breeches from a company in CA. I get the tracking number and see that they are being shipped from their warehouse in...........you guessed it......Dubai. They processed through Germany, then OH and are now headed for PA. ut: Jim
Dubai doesn't enter into this picture but it deserves another ut:. Our local farmer's co-op ordered a lubricant storage and delivery system from a company in Indiana. One of the drums had bad threads in the bung so a replacement was ordered. Upon arrival, the shipping label from Indiana included the shipping instructions from the OEM. The OEM was Greif Brothers Mfg. just 5 miles down the road from the Co-op.
Wow, my shipment was picked up in DUBAI , by DHL, on 9/20/11 at 13:33 and arrived on my door step on 9/22/11 at 12:33. I had another order picked up in Cincinnati, OH, by Fed-Ex, on 9/20/11 at 18:03 and arrived on my door step on 9/22/11 at 13:14. I now I see why the first company has there warehouse in Dubai, rather then CA. Faster shipment. :lol: Jim
