Next part to scan was the swing arm of the suspension. Why we scanned that ? We wanted a tube frame style suspension arm. Keeping all the OEM suspension points-axis but complete redesign. As for material we ordered AISI 4130 Steel or just chromoly for many. All the pipe cuts (only on straight pipes) will be done in a CNC laser cut machine and the for the rest I will print 2D flat models lay them on the pipe and cut according the pipe. I will saw you more later (it sounds complicate now) .

minor changes will happen but that's the general idea. In the next days I will do a stress an analysis just to be sure everything is ok. The plan is to start fabricating it in the next couple of weeks as soon as everything is verified.
