Was that sawdust on the PC? I felt & feel the same way Les.

Although I'm leaving Sunday for a 1500 mile road trip. Guess I'll have to drive a not quite detailed MINI until later next week.

I'm heading for DC Tuesday next. Not quite 1500 miles, but still time on the road in the MINI.

    And that's a GOOD thing.

I've also got the urge to get the winter wheels and tires off Silverback but I'll wait until the temps stay up over 50 degrees for a few days. Those performance tires are like driving on hard hockey pucks when the mornings are still cold :eek6:

Heck those tires have a manufacturing defect, they forgot to put sidewalls on them. ;) I have to agree in cold weather they have to be rock hard.

Changed mine out Tuesday, but my summer tires are 3 season with sidewalls. So smooth like riding on 4 big donuts....

Both MINIs need a major detail, but I have more garage upgrades to finish first.

I dont know you, but i envy you greatly... It was 92 on a rig location Sunday. Sweated my "family jewels" clear off the reservation... soooo hot. It only gets worse from here for us southerns.

My PC got dusted off a month ago, but the MINI has been neglected from it for almost 2 yrs now. It needs a good once over (or 5)...

About 375 miles. Just pulled into the garage. Snowed like mad on the PA TP today.

But it was all good. Cruise was set for 70 and away we went. Brief stop in Breezewood, PA for a splash of gas and then 4 hours to home.

Just me, the MINI and Twizzlers (strawberry).

No detailing of the MINI this weekend.

    Firstly, it's too bloody cold.

Secondly, I have an order for 3 cherry tables I must get going on.

    Excellent!!

    Here's my basic combo list:

    Yellow/Swirl
    Orange/Swirl
    White/Swirl
    White/Amigo
    Blue/Epic

Perhaps Octane Guy can add corrections were necessary.

Obviously each color is associated with a particular pad, in terms of softness.

From most to least aggressive what's the color spectrum, with respect to pads? White is the most and black the least?

Yep, within the Prima System, it goes:

    Yellow (Most Agressive)
    Orange (Medium)
    White (Mild)
    Black (Applicator)

    Any other colors are optional.
    I only use those pads.
