Might want set the camera for high-speed, cause it ain't going to be in front of ya long!! LOL Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
exactly............so why did you put the twincharge on your car then?:lol: regardless, I have tried multiple solutions to fix the problem with inlet temps.........the simplest way is meth........
Water spray on the intercooler is simple and it works. The delivery system is already installed, just harness the power of the windshield washer.
Ya'll are now trying to compare disparate systems now. The methanol systems typically spray the mix into the intake system after the intercooler. This is mixed directly with the air and besides acting as a cooling mechanism is also a fuel. Methanol also has a higher heat capacity meaning for the same amount of product it can cool a greater amount of air. The water based systems spray the outside of the intercooler. Since water has a higher heat capacity than air it is more effective than just the ambient air blowing over and through the intercooler. Ideally a mixed approach would seem to be a better solution, at least on paper. Spraying the I/C with water would lower the IAT. The methanol injection would lower the charge temp even more and add some fuel to the mix that may help compensate for the denser air.
