Looks like Gordon won the 34 km sprint to finally take a stage win.

The Dakar completion rate is pretty dismal. Here are the 2015 numbers (have no idea how they compare historically).

✓79 bikes (49%)
✓18 quads (40%)
✓68 cars (50%)
✓51 trucks (81%)

That's 216 finishers (53%) out of 406 registered to start.
