1st Gen R53 Cooper S Electrical gone crazy-gremlins? Radio/Turn signals/etc

My 2005 S Conv has just started going a little crazy after the last wash/wax. My radio volume and radio steering wheel controls along with the turn signals fail to work as intermitent times but when one is out, they all are. Other items work fine. I replaced OEM battery but it still does it and I did notice the brake lights turn on and stay on when i turn off the car? The ECM is dry as a bone too?? Alternator maybe?:crazy::crazy:

I did remove the passenger seat for new stiching and my airbag light is on but I think that is another issue.
