The other hidden battery connection that most miss is the jump start stud under the hood (bonnet for the A types on here). On your MINI I believe it is located on the firewall, drivers side in a black plastic box. Make sure that connection is tight and clean. Hope to see you on a Saturday. The drive, just for more information, is a family friendly event with a "bring your own lunch" outing on a great horse farm that also has a brewery on site, a swinging rope bridge, waterfalls, a wedding chapel in the woods and an outstanding view. Ya after tightening everything up i havent had any issues, soo time will tell.
