Wonderful work! I am in awe of anyone who can do that type of work.
I like keeping the engine bay clean, but alas I do not have the devotion it takes to keep something like that looking good. -
Thanks everybody. It isn't so hard to keep clean. You just wash the bay like you normally would, dry it, and then use the Mother's Billet Aluminum polish like it was quick detailer . I also got word that some gold bolts and spiked center caps for the wheels are on the way from Tunershop. We are going to make them look like this:

I got the chromed hood latches back today and got them installed so it all finished for now. So here is a before:
After:
I pulled the yellow cover off of the release lever for chroming, but now that I see it without the cover I'm going to just leave it off. Tomorrow I get the bolts for the wheels and will start swapping out all 120 of them for gold. I know it isn't part of the bay, but I will post the pics after I'm done. -

Yeah they have some nice stuff. The power steering tank and oil filler cap will be going in sometime in the future. I also have a red Craven Speed oil dipstick handle that broke that i need to find since they aren't produced anymore. I will just get the red polished off of it and use it for display. I finally got the MINI out in the sun for some good shots with all of the new polish and the gold bolts installed in the wheels:
