    Here is where you can find all the codes. ECU Codes Chart - 1st Generation MINI - Library

    But I don't see an E9 on there. Did this code come up when reading the OBDII codes? If not go to any auto parts store and they can read the codes for you and let us know what you found.

    I am the worst person on here for advice on automatics. BlimeyCabrio knows quite a bit about about automatics hopefully he will be along soon and can help. If not someone will or you could PM BlimeyCabrio.
