Well after two months I'm happy to say Gizmo is running and back in action. Thank you again to everyone who helped and kept my spirits up.

See you guys at MOTD, leaving in a few hours.

Had a few kinks at the MOTD but with the help of great MINI owners, Gizmo was running great.

Definitely put the car and myself through its paces on the Dragon.

I already changed the oil and coolant.

Figured some of the chemicals would find their way into the supplies.

So I put 35 PSI in each cylinder with the adapter...

    Cyl. 4 - good, Cyl. 3 - good, Cyl. 2 - good, Cyl. 1 - I hear a leak.

Go up to the engine, don't hear anything but I still hear a leak. It was just the quick disconnect adapter on the compressor hose that I heard the leak from LOL.

    All four cylinders tested fine.

Thank you all for helping out, I really don't know what to say because I am overwhelmed by the generosity.

Again, the least I can do is sent a print as a thank you. So if you do want one, please let me know.

    Here is the design

Finished printing, wanted to go with a vintage-esque look. Next up is matting and they should be in the mail Monday. Again, please let me know if you want a print.

I'm at home right now, I'm going back to my apartment later to try and fix this. I'm really hoping it is just the over flow tank.

    I'll keep you all posted.

Gaskets are replaced, thermostat is in, the engine is almost reassembled now. Took a good two days to take apart and reassemble the engine components. Thanks for eMINIParts for the replacement parts and extra goodies (definitely lifted my spirits).

Head gasket looked normal, so I presume the thermostat was the issue.

The engine cranks but I have to replace my fuel injectors (stupid mistake on my end), so I'm waiting for those to arrive. HOPEFULLY the car will start right up when I get them installed. Then will be the moment of truth if the issue was even fixed :/

Guess I should work on homework now since Gizmo is on jack stands and I have nothing to currently do on it.

I'll post some more updates when I can.

Ouch sorry to see the damage. Your drive gear was not pressed on all the way either! It might have walked a bit back as the ball bearing in the end plate went dry but it looks like it started to wear not even pressed far enough on rotor shaft.

Get that rebuild company to send you another one and make sure it's ass end is in mint shape with new oil seals/oil level up! Good luck.

Sorry to hear your rebuilt supercharger failed. Been there, done that. For the benefit of anyone else considering this path, I'm going to say it again: buy a factory refurbished supercharger.

Sorry I have to be an a-hole on this one. Good luck.

I'm going to tow/trailer the car home this weekend, I have spring break next week so this came at a 'good' time.

SC and Waterpump were both replaced by Helix last year.

My car is at 116,000 miles so the head gasket is likely.

No lights or codes are being thrown at all.

I tried bleeding any air but only fluid came out (that was after several tries every thirty seconds or so).

I think you can all see why my car is named Gizmo now...the 'gremlin' name fits the car's personality.

I'll post any findings I can but until the weekend I will not be running the car at all.

THANK YOU all for the help.

I'd suggest changing your oil. It is quite possible that carb cleaner & other gunk has made its way into the sump.

As far as those infectors go, those nice supple seals turn into hard plastic with age.

I have stock injector now, I'm saying my friend replaced his with JCWs.

Cylinder 4 has a lot of crap in the cylinder, the others don't look bad. I don't think it is oil because I just changed it and intue dipstick the oil is a clear and light brown.

I hooked up the pressure gauge to the cylinders and now I have no compression in any of them. I'm going to take the valve cover off and inspect.
