Put in the new fan tonight and ran the car until it came on. Nice and quiet. No more barn owl. If you get the "Whoo-hoo" sound, try this: Put the car on ramps or jackstands. Warm the car up until the PS fan kicks on, shut the motor down, but don't turn the key all the way off, that way the PS fan will keep running for a bit. Once I did that, it was easy to hear that it was the PS fan.
