    My plan is to get to Bob's by around 7:45 and be on the road by 8:00-8:15. It is nice to have some time to walk around the parking lot to see what else will be in the group. This is really helpful if you tend to get lost and want to know what to look for later to confirm you are back on the right roads.

    Metalman I personally hate Bob's breakfast I never feel right after eating there so I will be eating before I get to Bob's. In years past there have been a lot of people who eat before at Bob's.

    Nathan I imagine there will be a MINI group, depending on how many people come we might make it a couple groups. Last year we had a nice group, but I think it was border line too many. I did love watching that MGA in my mirrors all day (I had to check the pictures because I thought for a minute it was the big Healey with the red wheels that I also love to see every year)

    I would like to run as a group that is why I was curious when everyone else was planning on getting there. So it sounds like about 7:45 then?

    I'll try to get there around 7:45 and maybe get a quick bite to eat inside.

    Chuck, do you have a larger image of this year's route? All I can see is a tiny 320x380 image.

    Yes I have a whopping big image of that. If you & come & register I'll hand you a very nice copy of the map along with an attractions page & a route . We have decided posting a large map on line was probably counter productive.

    Going as a group is fine as long as the group remains small enough. IMO a 40 wheeled MINI is just too large. For me a 12 or 16 wheeled one works best. The other thing is folks like to run at different paces. Going slower than you want or having someone hound you to go faster sucks the fun out of it. Best to group up with folks that have similar tastes in velocity. :wink:

    I'll be at the B&E early for my greasy breakfast. Time TBD....

    Get gas before you leave town.... :D

    Well looks like I will have to miss this year too. Work just picked up and MINI still needs worked on. Also, not sure the river run would be a great shake down. Would hate to hold anyone up.

    That is fine as long as he knows to let others by when they catch him. Sad but true every year there seem to be a few people who will not give way to others. Go figure???

    Last year we had a Land Rover Discovery do the tour.

    I am sure it will still be faster than a Slowstice :)

    He is definitely not one of the Bobs, more like Samir. He is cool, he watches Top Gear, has done a track day at Laguana Seca, big into photography. He would fit right in with us.
