We followed a Morgan and a Pontiac Solstice for a while, then broke with them about halfway to Augusta at a rest stop. Met up with a Triumph, a Classic, and a couple others at the ferry, then did not see a soul once we left Augusta. Though we did see a lot of cars queueing at the ferry and tried to make contact with our radio, but no one was listening.
We got to the ice cream place around 4:40, and a couple of Miatas pulled in but that was it.
It was still a fun drive though, even if sparsely populated from our point of view.

Glad you will make it Nick, contact the registrar after April 1st. I do not keep track of such things.

Looks like a fun time!

Yes we've been that way before. We mixed it up a bit, but I'm sure parts will be familiar to you. Only so many back roads to take.

All of the years seem to tun together with each other. We ate lunch at Moyers winery on the river. 2010 as I recall.
This is Eric's drive that Bill & I help continue. Eric liked old British cars, he wasn't a car snob & also liked many different cars as I do too. Everyone is welcome even car snobsters. All profit goes to a good cause. Fun cars on fun roads, life is good. :cornut: -
I love seeing all the different cars that come out for Riverrun (even the Slowstices), it is what always makes this my favorite event of the year! -

With luck all the Slostices will be sitting in the shop waiting on ignition switch parts. :ihih:

What is the back story behind the run?
It's nice to know who you are honoring. -

Well said Allen thank you.
Just to ease the minds of the gravelphobes among us, no gravel roads will be used. But if you see some you like have at it. Many wonderful roads in our great state are gravel & are a heck of a lot of fun.
This tour is self guided. We give you the tools to have a fun day driving with your buddy's. Follow the route, explore a bit, stop & smell the roses. Please don't expect to be held by the hand & led along in a large group.
Looking forward to this Riverrun. It's been a painfully long winter & the back roads are calling me. -

- Sadly, finance. The most boring job in the world.

This sounds like fun. I will have to see if I can clear my schedule for that date. And the meetup isn't too far from my house.
