I know Doctor McCoy says we are dead, but just in case there is still a spark of life here's a heads up reminder to anyone still alive. Riverrun is a go 5-26-18 see you there. Leaving in a few to do some route exploring. Details to follow.....
Hey two survivors & Nathan makes 3. I'll have 3 sets of routes reserved for you guys. The River was high, but luckily the ferry was running. All of the tributaries were back down to normal levels. The areas of backwater will be wet for quite some time. I had a great day of back road driving. Looks like the course is done. Now all the hard stuff for my buddy Bill to do. Of course we'll have to make sure the route is P car compatible.
I doubt he could make it on & off the ferry. Although that isn't a problem if you just use a bridge instead. Mark has never come to Riverrun so it's all good, no worries.
No worries we'd love to see Mark & his red P car come along. All are welcome to spend a fun day of driving on some of Ohio's best back roads.
Hey Lee, come on up & buy another car from Mark. Then drive it home using the Riverrun course for part of the trip home. Once to the Ohio River put it on a barge & float to Memphis.
Now there an idea! I know of a blue mini for sale up there......... Well, I built me a raft and she's ready for floatin' Ol' Mississippi, she's callin' my name Catfish are jumpin', that paddle wheel thumpin' Black water keeps rollin' on past just the same
I got two friends interested in coming, one with a GTI, the other with a Charger SRT. Any more information that I can give them?
We hope to have a flyer out soon. That should fill in the blanks for you. I'll post it here when available.
OK if I can figure this out I'll attach the flyer. Well heck no joy in forum land. Anyone know the secret password or incantation to attach a PDF?
Premium gas is available. Whether it is 91 or 93 I have no idea. I'd guess if you left with a full tank you'd have no problem doing the route on that tank. You might want to check the gas buddy app, it may show you what you need. Search Maysville KY that is the mid point. I'll try to see what the octane is when I'm down there tomorrow.
