ERR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR is Chrome specific it seems. I didn't do a ton of research Aaron, but the jist of the issue is that when using a VPN and AVAST and possibly some other combo's of stuff you get the ERR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR randomly. Google or Bing or DuckDuckGo ERR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR. You'll see a bunch of choices.

Makes sense... I finally got around to putting avast on the machine about a week ago! I thought it was something site related. Thanks!

Interesting and fits my experience so far. I use Avast but don't use Chrome and haven't seen this issue.

Looks like this is a chrome browser issue. Here are two articles I found on it:
https://www.techsupportall.com/fix-err_spdy_protocol_error-permanently/
http://techdows.com/2015/08/fix-chromes-err_spdy_protocol_error.html
Let me know if that doesn't fix it. -
@ fishmonger - note my post regarding the chrome browser issue was not related to the 404 post you mentioned. I will need to look into that issue, I'm able to reproduce it. Right now I'm quite focused on the site migration which will allow a lot more options and stability (at least that is the plan) for these functions.
Thanks for reporting this one. -

If so could you try signing in using one of those browses and let me know what happens?

It's only the M/A forum site that won't let me load.
