the av-gas was called 115/145, but has not been available for many years current av-gas is called 100LL, it is 100 octane with about 1/8 of the lead of the older 100/130 octane av-gas btw, the dual octane rating was to denote the "lean mixture octane rating" and the "rich mixture octane rating" on airplanes we can adjust the mixture "on-the-fly" lol, usually full rich is used for full power, like for takeoff and initial climb, and a leaner mixture is used for cruise scott
It was back in the late '70's and early '80's when we used to get it at the Airport. The only Aviation fuel that I had first hand dealings with on a regular basis was JP-4 that we used in the Kiowa's,Cobra's and Huey's back in the early '70's and '80's.
