IPS Motorsports posted up on another forum they just got a new 'touchless' tire machine and posted this video. Thought I'd share. Looks pretty sweet. Seems like a good resource to y'all since they are up in Lewis Center. As long as you stay away from the 3 Stooges at Wally World in Lewis Center you'll be OK. Discount Tire does a good job for me. If I get me that set of 32 inch DUB's I'll looking for that wunder machine.
I've mounted tires for 30+ years, started with an old coats 20/20 machine, which is as rudimentary as it gets. Scratches come from not paying attention. I've never scratched a wheel. But granted, I'm pretty careful. I'm sure even an idiot could screw up a wheel with that machine, but damn is it cool!
Yeah that seemed odd. Maybe it just detects the edge of the rims, but the diameter is inputted so it knows the circumference and when to stop spinning.
