DARN....that means I have to wait longer to find an R56 MCS!!

My wife drives our R60 JCW 95% of the time, and by gosh I want my own Mini.

I have checked dealers far and wide and can find virtually NO MCS models left of the 2013 variety-they are long gone....

My evil plan is to pick up a lightly used 2012 or 2013 MCS or JCW from an early adopter trade-in of an F56 :devil:

My goal is to pick one up that still has at least half of its manufacturer's warranty left.

MINI / BMW has to settle a lawsuit from the Helen Keller family because they stole the F'ed 56 design drawings from her. :lol:

 

Baron in KC has plenty of inventory too, including a white JCW with a red top....in fact Baron has 2014 models on hand right now....

 

Jeff, how would you like a black R58 JCW......local?

 

Have you had MAG do a search for you. They found my old Clubby in South Carolina and worked a trade or something and got it shipped up here. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but close enough to pull the trigger.

 

With the factory incentives on the R56s, I'd for sure consider one of those. There just aren't a lot of low-mileage R56 MCSs out there. BTW, MINI of Des Moines has a bunch. PM me if you want a contact there.

 

I see many R56's on lots of used car lots around the Philly area and the local MINI dealer has a long row of them.

I do see, as someone mentioned, numerous MCS and JCWs in the Denver metro area as well as Des Moines....just didn't cast my net wide enough...

Didn't think about going through MAG to find something they don't have on their lot just because of the goofy way Mini handles car transactions, allocations, etc....it's unlike any other make I have ever dealt with before...

Problem with the units in Denver is that virtually none of them have the panoramic sunroof...in a place where there is sun 300 days of the year, i would think all of their Minis would be ordered with them !
