Hi, we bought a 2009 Clubman S new and totally enjoy the car! It's got 21k miles and the warranty expires in 8 months. We've had the HPFP replaced twice, the water pump twice, the turbo water pump and complete timing chain assembly. It's starting to sound like a diesel again so it's going back to dealer next week. We also do LOF every 5k miles. So it seems like we pulled the short straw and have one of the problematic engines. Opinions on whether we should get the extended warranty, sell the car before the warranty expires or ??? Thanks LaserBlueS
:cornut: No help here but I wish you good luck whichever way that you go. I bought Margi(08 R56 MCS/JCWm) brand new and got the 50kmi warranty when I bought her. They definately lost money on that deal. She was a garage queen for the first 3yrs. I just love to drive her though and wouldn't trade her for anything. Jason
