I pretty much try to make all my own MINI stuff. Got plans to add some more gauges at the bottom of the center stack..... But I have way too many half started MINI projects that need finished first...

This is the current setup, but I have a suspicion it will be changing soon.

Ok, so maybe I shouldn't have started this thread.

I picked up the Aeroforce before they offered them for Mini's. I liked it because it's an OBDII gauge so the install is simple. It has a couple analog inputs for other gauges you might want also. It replaced a Scanguage II. Mine doesn't have the nice Mini logo when it boots. They didn't offer the silver face either at that time. I really like the look of Gil-galad's gauges with the matching faces. I paid quite a bit less than retail as a "test" install. They don't offer a LCD color that matches the Mini's. Mine is their red model and it's definitely different than the orange of the Mini. The VEI orange gauge on the other hand is an exact match to the Mini's LCD. -

Someone foolishly asked me once, "why do you need all this stuff?"
 WHAT DOES "NEED" HAVE TO DO WITH IT? -
I'm using a Scanguage II for extra gauges. I think I could use an oil pressure gauge though.
I have the scanguage to display Boost, Ignition timing, Intake Air temp, and water temp.

Oh, something else about gauges, if you run a fuel pressure gauge you should connect the sensor to the Fuel Rail instead of the main fuel line.
The main line will basiclly just give you the constant pressure off the pump and pretty much just warn you of a pump failure.
As where the fuel rail will give you the variable readings dictated by the fuel regulator, and not only warn you of a pump failure but also a drop in pressure due to a fuel leak or loss of vacuum to the regulator.
Just pull the valve stem out & your ready to go, this is also where you would connect for a wet N.O.S. system. -

Anyone using the red version of the VEI gauges? Do they match the interior lighting at all?
Also, does anyone still use ProSport Gauges? I know Alta sold them and they matched fairly well as to looks...any reviews?
Thanks. -

BTW, here is my SGII fabbed mount:
Drivers POV
Mount is aluminum sheet wrapped in gaff tape to prevent glare. It has a "corner" of aluminum (like a piece of angle) apoxied to the back to prevent bouncing and flexing.
We needed washers for the screws to spread out the force. We also needed to conect them to the aluminum plate. Turns out .40 S&W brass with the primer punched out works perfectly. So we drilled holes on the plate and used some epic apoxy to get the brass stuck to the plate then mounted it to the back of the tach.

Try Either:
CANSF Alt A/F Bank1 Sensor1 data - TXD: 07DF0134 RXF: 04414534 RXD: 2808 MTH: 05B900800000
or
CANSF Alt A/F General - TXD: 07DF0144 RXF: 04414544 RXD: 2808 MTH: 05B900800000
The BST is mostly on there for fun. It's not terribly accurate as it uses a bruteforce math method to derrive the relative boost from the MAP (Manifold Absolute pressur. It has to be adjusted for alititude and doesn't take ambient air-temp into account.
Check this thread/post for that: http://www.motoringalliance.com/forums/cooper-s/2895-scan-gauge-ii-help-2.html#post45331
