So did anyone else select Australia as the bonus race and were you able to switch it to a different one?

Looks like I am out of a bonus race this first part. Still can't seem to get any kind of response from anyone.

I think a Nathan picked Australia, don't know when he changed it.

I checked F1 Fanatic and I'm up to 254th (tied with a couple hundred others) with 14 points, how did you do?

    Forgot all about it......lol

Guess I am out of luck with the bonus race. Didn't get the message that the first race was a practice till after the transfer window closed I guess.

After 6+ emails to them, still have never gotten a response to any of my questions.

I'd call it lousy customer service if it actually cost anything to play. Still, setting Australia up as an option in the first place was their mistake, not yours, and given they only notified people at the last minute you'd think they would do something. They should at least make the effort to answer one of your questions even if it's only to say "sorry, our bad." They're probably ignoring others as well...

I think we've all got this down now so I'll stop reminding...after this...probably.

The pre-quali transfer window for China closes at noon eastern tomorrow, Fri. Then after quali you get a chance to use up the remainder of your 3 transfers until 1 hour before the race start. This means if you like to fiddle (like me) you can pick someone you think qualifies well and trade him away if you think someone else, because of the car he drives or whatever, will do better in the race itself.

A few things I think might be important. The tire compounds are the same. The DRS (adjustable wing) zone for China is nearly a full kilometer of the verrry long back straight. Red Bull have had less than a week to fix their KERS...

Why oh why couldn't I have picked this race for my bonus? *Shakes Head*.

I had Webber as well. He was worth 244 points to me.

My Points Breakdown chart only shows cumulative points. It's the same when I mouse over "Display Points" on my team details page. I think the only way to know what he scored for you is to do the math yourself, unless you added him for the first time for the most recent race. I wish they had a chart with columns for individual race totals or at least a separate column breaking out total points from the most recent race.

Yep, they lack in certain statistical categories. But if you click the best components button, it will show you the top 3 for the last race.

You're right, I forgot about that ("Best Weekly Players" button actually). So as long as you had one of the top three you can see their most recent race total, and Webber was worth 161 for China.

You were right though, this was probably a good week to double if you had Webber... 161 x 2 = 332...nothing to sneeze at.

If you haven't looked, here are the Speed commentators' numbers, just for grins:

    Hobbs -- 1229
    Varsha -- 1175
    Matchett -- 883
    Buxton -- 797

You can see their China picks here.
