I'm late to the party (I just watched the recording last night) here but:
-Commercials? What commercials? I have a DVR.
-Telling Weber to back-off was BEYOND retarded. He's an excellent driver and deserves better. I'm a fan of Vettle and Weber but I don't like seeing either one being told to back off the help the other out. That's crap. :incazzato:
-Admittedly Guantanamo is a travesty at best. However, comparing that to what was happening in Bahrain? Fail. Ambulances, bah. :frown2:
-Kimi? Really? Sounds like rumor mill status stuff.
...aaaaannnnddd I'm done.

I need to try that negative camber on my car. :biggrin5:

I'm not 100% sure on the benefit of having a Hans restraint in a car with no safety belts

Nice drifting though - looked like he could get oversteer and understeer, pretty much at the same time.... -

A little nostalgia with Jackie Stewart (with David Hobbs) commenting on the 1973 Nurburgring GP in which Stewart competed.

Beautiful, vintage F1 noise.
1 comment before you click, be patient and turn up the volume.

OK, I'll be getting up around 7:30AM EST to see if I can find a live stream to the race. I will post here as soon as I find one, which may not be until 8:00 AM, so be patient.

This ain't exactly F1, but look what I found kinda in a corner while visiting the Peterson Museum for the fist time today. Do you know this car and what it nearly pulled off against Europe's finest almost 60yrs ago? I thought it had gone to the compacter long ago.

I feel so ashamed. My mom lives two blocks away from there and yet I haven't been there in years.

There are a variety of live streams here
Formula 1 online, watch formula 1 online, f1
This one seems to be BBC
Live sport
Enjoy! And I promise no spoilers! -
Thanks, the first link is working better for me. It is the BBC broadcast with Martin Brundle and David Coulthard.

Riddle me this...
Since the 4th and 5th place cars were 54 seconds ahead of the 6th place car and while the regulations do specify that both the prime and option tires do need to used and the penalty for not doing so is 30 seconds added to the time why not hold station and take the penalty instead of risking a pit stop issue. -
Good question though and one they most likely didn't think of in the moment.... -

On the Fox coverage they mentioned Alonso stopping on track after the race but they neither mentioned nor showed his taxi ride on the sidepod of Webber's car. I just read about it. Here's hoping this vid hangs around a while before the FIA or FOM force YouTube to pull it.

Great sportsmanship; Webber earned points in my book!!!!
