Wow that's actually very sweet!!! Looks like they moved the engine forward too and really opened the whole rear end up so the spoilers will be riding in as much clean air as possible!!! Kudos!

Wow. The rear-suspension stress-members are aero parts as well. That's impressive. :eek6:

Can't stop studying it, the more you look at it the more (or less) you see! If it works and holds up, bet you'll see everyone going in that direction..

Here's another view. Amazing how the engine cover and everything else other than floor and suspension (and rear wing) seems to end ahead of the front of the rear tires!

Is it me or does the driver look a tick more forward too?

You may be right but I can't see it.

Here's another shot I like. Thanks to the light, at this angle you get a good look at the area opened up by McLaren's U-shaped sidepod arrangement.

We've seen this happen before. Wasn't it JPM last time?

Well done Jackie!! It's not really all down to the tracks of course (and he should have stopped short of proposing that particular solution IMHO) but I do love to see someone respected slating the downside(s) of the Tilke design era.

Stewart: Tilke tracks to blame for lack of passing (crash.net)

Me believes Sir Jackie has hit the proverbial nail on the head or as one from his part of the world would say: "Spot on"!! :)

Now to get Bernie to pay the slightest attention will be another thing indeed.....

JPM & Jeff Gordon and Gordon was WAY faster than JPM in the F1 car. :cornut:

Amazing NASCAR will be leaving the epitome of '70s Tech to join the '80s with fuel injection... :frown2: One of many reasons I stopped watching.

From F1 official site interview with Bernie:

Q: So the phrase ‘money makes the world go around’ is a fact?
BE: Sex and money make the world go around. That is why I am sure that not so long from now 50 percent of the decision makers in the economy and politics will be women. Women have always had a strong influence, and have probably been in the background for too long. Isn’t there the saying that behind every successful man there is a woman?

Q: That suggests that you think women have a different approach to making decisions…
BE: Yes, I do. I think that women don’t get trapped so easily in their own ego. Women don’t have to play golf to make deals, they simply have to work harder to get the same acceptance as men. As their egos don’t stand in their way they decide things less emotionally and in the end that serves the cause.

Q: That all sounds as if you could imagine women running Formula One racing?
BE: Absolutely. Probably in three to five years.

Seems like he changed his mind from his "women should wear white" days.

Nothing against women in business at all but to hear Bernie speak of ego makes one think he and Charlie Sheen have been smoking from the same pipe....

I think he usually just says whatever he thinks has the most shock value, but he sometimes "changes his mind" (in reality just edits what he says) depending on who he's trying to impress.
