He also needs the rest of this month and the next to see how B.Senna is going to pan out - so far he looks pretty darn good, and seems to be faster than Petrov. However, they need Petrov's sponsorship, so I doubt he's going anywhere...........and if Senna the B. does really well the rest of the season, it may come down to how much $$$ the drivers can bring to the team, and poor Bob could find himself looking for a drive. The silly season will start very soon....

I figured they would do something with all that footage they collected. Not a bad film once I get past the "what a terrible way to treat an F1 car!" hurdle. They could have cut half that crap at the front though IMHO...
I think I could have lived without that bit, esp. the sound of the bull sticking his tongue in his nose... rrr:
Vettel ran only one flying lap in Q3 with which he took pole by nearly a half second, then he said he could have done better. Would be an ominous sign for competitors but at this point it's nothing new and no one expects to catch him up anyway. Good thing the next few guys already figure they're racing for 2nd...
The remaining field "Good thing the next few guys already figure they're racing for 2nd... " and third and fourth...that battle truly rages.
* DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT RACE RESULTS* Webster's dictionary adding new word: Vettel (vet-tul) 1. To dominate, a master. 2. to rule or control by superior power or influence. 3. to tower over; rise high above. ...as for the race for second; Button showed true seasoning, while extracting everything his car had and not one bit more as he brought it home in second place. Weber need never consider a second career in NHRA but still finished the podium off with a solid third whilst Alonso and the Scuderia's lack of improvement continued.... Hats off to Hamilton for passing the most cars of anyone else, problem is he wouldn't have had to if he would retrieve his head from his bottom end and get the correct amount of oxygen to it..... Over all a fun race at the breathtaking venue Singapore is!!! Did I mention Vettel and Red Bull dominated again?
Watch it anyway Nathan. It is worth it to see Vettel stop in the pits drink a cuppa, eat a donut & maintain his lead. :donut1:
Crap, I'm sorry Nathan, figured most here on this thread watched it this morning... There is much more to see!!!
Umm, you're overselling it. It was a pretty boring race to watch. Expectantly, on a tight street circuit with very little to none run off room very few passes were attempted and most settled for status quo. Except for Hamilton and even he mostly limited himself to passing in the DRS zone.
This team or eventually another; this is great news from the Doctor for Kubica!!! Wish him a speedy and complete recovery.
I'm looking forward to Japan this weekend; gotta love Suzuka. Been wondering whether anyone else is also looking forward to the Bathurst 1000 (Aussie V8 Supercars) on Sunday. There's an excellent 101 on Speed.com: Bathurst And V8 Supercars 101 Seems to me even if you aren't sure what you think about the V8 Supercars series you'd still enjoy watching pretty much any racing at Bathurst...as long as you're not an oval-only "purist." It's a public road, closed off for races: 3.9 miles, 23 corners, 522 feet of elevation change. If the coverage is good I think it will be fun to watch.
The turns at the top of the hill and the run down the side of the mountain is absolutely epic! Should be a great race, too bad there are only really two competetive makes in the series....Ford vs GM...... Re the F1 driver's championship - the race for 2nd place is going to be amazing too. Three top drivers within 3 pts of each other right now, 5 races to go and the Hamster still within range - it's gonna be a battle. In a way it's OK that Seb has run off with it, you only have to look down the field a bit to see some real racing going on, well worth the time to watch. Lotus (the green ones) will be an interesting team to watch next year when they get Renault's KER system, they should at least be mid pack next year, right in there with Sauber, Williams, Force India and Torro Rosso - should be fun to watch Heikki in particular.
I must be the only person enjoying each of the races and happy seeing Sebastien Vettel run with it. Im rooting for him and Webber. Seeing each race has been good to see where the field is shifting. I have high hopes for Paul DiResta if he can catch the right team/car combo. Im not going to be around for the Bathurst 1000. However, it being DVR'd and my Dad and I will watch it when Im back.
