Yup, though that's not why I'd like to see some rain. I don't care who wins as long as it's interesting. I also think if it rains there are about a dozen drivers with an equal chance at the podium. I like a bit of chaos...but hopefully without too much carnage.
I'd love to see Rubens win. With all the talk of this being his last race it would be magic to see him win in front of his countrymen. The rain seems to make the cream rise to the top. Should be an interesting race for sure. I hope it is a safe one, but a good one. Let the racing begin!
I'd love to see Weber win. Instead of making team orders obvious they could use a code like: You need to short shift 2nd = slow down to let Mark catch up. You need to short shift 2nd & 3rd = let Mark pass. Just saying.....
Glad to see Mark win. I think the only reason for team orders was to keep Mark & Seb from taking each other out. Mark was faster & was going to pass Seb's crippled car no matter what. Good call by the team.
There is something fishy about Seb's damaged gearbox. Why do I think that Christian Horner had one of these on his console...
So team orders can beat Vettel.... LOL Thought this might happen, Vettel has won everything in sight, so number two needed a bone...
I can't see them telling Seb to slow down & let Mark win. He is the wonder child & the first love of team Red Bull Horner. :goaljnky Must have been more to the story. Maybe they should switch to a CVT next year.
If to be believed this is a great slap to the cheek of every other team in F1...:mad2: "You guys can't even out pace Vettel whilst he's suffering an ill gearbox.....from lap 5." :cornut:
Equally impressive is Vettel himself - whilst nursing the car home in this condition (including falling off the track once), he had time to think about Ayrton Senna racing 20 years ago on the same track with a failing gearbox and make a comment on the radio to his engineer that Senna had a gearbox problem and still managed to win, whereas he could only come second. Nothing like driving in a F1 race to give you time to reminisce over old times, eh?
I just checked and it looks like he did take a crack at it. Vettel had the 3rd fastest lap time and he got it on lap 68 (of 71). I bet when Horner saw that come up on his screen he was on the radio seconds later...
This made me laugh... F1comestoVegas.com - Home It may be perfectly legit, but with the mention of no driver names and you can meet a world champion driver (with ??? after that statement), the seemingly unrelated videos and photos sprinkled throughout reminds me of a barker for a sideshow at the carnival...all for $75 and Mike Tyson too!
A bit of fun with Vettel at a recent awards ceremony. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mn3lACZy8p8]Kimi Raikkonen impression done by Sebastian Vettel - YouTube[/ame]
