I think one of us posted a video like this before. F1 driver with a helmet cam mounted over one of his eyes so you can see exactly what he sees. Well, sort of, it can't mimic his eye movements, just the movement of his head, but you do get a realistic on-board, driver's eye view. This one is Spa and in the wet...with only one eye because the camera blocks the other! :eek6:

My experience is with SCCA and NASA, and like you, I find this use of lights pretty confusing. I am used to a yellow anything, waving, standing etc., meaning there is a caution on the course and you are not allowed to pass.
