Gotta love those two poor guys in the back of the car trying hard not to puke.

Never have understood how these greedy little tyrants always seem to be in these positions....guess that's why I'm not a billionaire.... -

So, who will feature in Spain?
Whose turn is it to get their first of their season/career?
Maybe Lotus this weekend? have they gotten steering that Kimi acutally likes yet? If they ever do, I'll bet he'll be a front runner.....but based on this season's performances, I'm betting RoGro will get a win before Kimi gets his next one......
Some are saying this is Schumi's race to lose, I'm not so sure, but he certainly knows the way around the track by now.
The Hamster is finally having a good season, despite the best/worst efforts of his team, while Button's season seems to have lost it's wheels.....how can it be in a team blessed with as much talent and money as Big Mac that one car goes like the clappers and the other can't get out of it's own way?
How about Force India? Their car has had the highest top speed (along with Toro Rosso) at almost every venue, yet they still seem to finish about where they qualify.....
Williams also seems to have lost the plot after looking so strong at the start of the season, wonder if the other cars just got better and left them back or what?
And finally, Fernando.....who's shown that he can take the Ferrari by the scruff of the neck and wring great things out of it.....
So, who's your favorite this weekend? -
Kidding, of course. -

Like they say, it's only Friday practice so far, so you can safely ignore relative positions to this point. But I still think it's interesting by the end of FP2 the top 15 were covered by less than a second!

Since they got rid of the Fox F1 commentators the worst thing about the Fox broadcasts is the delay. The race is already over but the broadcast doesn't start until noon (Eastern).
Pre-race is on Speed now, race on Fox in half an hour. -

And, at least for me, another unpredicted and surprising outcome.

SPOILER WARNING:
If you still haven't watched and are trying to avoid learning about the race, don't read on. Personally I think it's been long enough. The race ended more than 6 hours ago and even the delayed Fox broadcast finished 2 hours ago.
First, congrats to Dave on the very prescient pre-race weekend comment below.
I think the strangest thing for me was watching Schumacher and Webber passing people almost in tandem like they were hooked together by a cable.
Feeling very sorry for Grosjean. He was up for a podium and felt like he might even get the win. It used to happen all the time but it's unusual these days to see race-changing mechanical failures like that (and Vettel's identical (alternator) DNF) among front runners. -
Who else thinks Hamilton deserves the "(_0_) of the race award?"
...of course Kimi and Micheal will be sending him chocolates. LOL -

Yeah, seems everyone saw the Maldo/Haminator incident the same way - except the stewards - who handed old Maldonna a nice big fat penalty for the next race.
I sure didn't expect Alonso to win, but in his own words, you never know, so never give up, never surrender!
OK, I paraphrased.....:biggrin5:
It was clearly Vettels weekend, and I think RoGro had 2nd easily, later I think he could have gotten around alonso had he had the chance.
I'll bet you that NEVER happens to a Red Bull car again......
siverstone is a whole nother ballgame, I think since it's Big Mac's home field, they'll be really strong there - well Hammy will, Buttons starting to resemble Massa more and more these days.....
Reminds me of the NFL - they have a player who has a great year and is "rewarded" with a huge contract, his next year he either sucks monkey balls or is injured. -
That was one very watchable race. Quite exciting, some bone head moves too.
So glad we are back to Speed again for the rest of the season. Fox butchers F races...
2 set of commercials within the last 10 laps. If they did that to NASCAR fans there would be riots outside of FOX Sports HQ. -
Was not planning on watching. So glad I stumbled across it while channel surfing.
Very good race. Didn't even feel like taking a NASCAR nap. -
