Gary Anderson is the technical guru on the BBC F1 commentary team and as ex-designer for Jordan, it's clear he knows a huge amount about the cars, just from looking at them and chatting to people.
This sounds great, except it's actually a permanent disappointment as here is this guy with all the technical knowledge that would make the F1 coverage utterly fascinating - but the BBC try hard to make their coverage appeal to the non-enthusiast, so the technical stuff rarely rises above the "more wing means more drag, and that's not a good thing" level. Grrrr...
