I like the fact that Kimi is running with the "leave me alone" biz instead of treating the media hype like so much annoyance like he might have in the past. He even came up with his own version of the shirt. I'd like to have one but this version is definitely a limited edition.

Starting this season (or maybe it was last season) one steward at each race is an ex-driver or current driver from another series. The idea behind this is to add a driver's perspective to the stewards' decision-making.

There's a LOT of chatter about COTA Turn 1. Most saying basically that it has the potential to be one of the drivers' all-time favorite corners. It looks good, I hope it lives up to the hype. Steve Matchett provides a couple pics to show a bit more of its character.

It was very cool. I have a bunch of pics of the cars running. Probably won't have them up till next week.

The Caddy at the end of the line in the above picture should have a set of longhorns on the hood.

What you all did not see is the car Schumi was in breaking down and him hopping into Kimi's ride for the ride. The crowd roared its approval. :cornut:

Indeed. As an overall weekend experience it was amazing. Glad to see we'll have the final race with something still to be decided.

It is hard to admit that Lewis was driving amazing and easy to blame somebody else. The track of Americas is one if the not the best tracks at F1 calendar, it is fast with many plenty of passing zones and the most important with plenty of escaping zones where the driver can recover if miss a turn without heck the car.

What Vettel needs is grow up and respect others much more. He thinks he can say offensive things and attack others because he is 2 times world champion. He is a new Schummacher in the oven, very unpleasant.

My point is just accept the fact that he was overtaken on the track during the race and mainly both drives had 30 sec over Alonso. It wasn't Lewis lucky day, he drove very good.

This has been one of the best seasons in F-1 in a very long time. Vettel is still young and has a lot of years to surpass Schumacher. And they both now own property in the USA.

Alonso not surprised by eighth place on the grid (AutoSport.com)

Massa qualified 5th, Alonso 8th. Will Buxton claims Massa told the Italian media "If they tell me my gearbox is broken, I'll race with a broken gearbox."
