I just read the forecast for the Hungarian GP race day is 100% chance of precipitation.

Well that gives Alonso his chance. Wet ought to mix things up a bit, and he's pretty good in the rain.

    That was some rain!

    Good race, not spectacular.

    Interesting results too...

Yep, I watched the race on DVR Sunday morning. I guess I did not have enough coffee because I dozed off. When I woke back up about half hour later everyone was still in the same position and it was like I didn't miss a thing.

    Red Bull Racing's American Vacation

Red Bull is not known for being subtle or doing half-cocked publicity stunts.

So, it's no surprise when its latest video production put former Formula One driver David Coulthard behind the wheel of the team's 2011 F1 car on a street tour around New Jersey and New York.

The car is the 2011 championship winning RB-7, prowling the Grand Prix of America streets in West New York and Weehawken, N.J.

The end of the break has been pretty anti-climactic so far with both Friday practices basically rained out. How bad was it? Pic, in a Marussia, took the top time (2m 49s) in the second session...fastest lap last year was 1m 26s. I don't think much practicing happened today...

Oh I do love the rain! If we have a wet race it could be epic.
