    NBCSP coverage of resumed qualifying is at 12:30am (E), so not live, and is set to run right up to the start of their pre-race show at 1:30am (E).

    Enjoyed the race, not a yawner for sure. The feed from Bernie's video camera, & the studio stuff from NBC was done well. :D

    It is almost ludicrous how many people are allow over the wall, they could easily reduce that in half and possibly make the pit stops more interesting...:eek:

    The front jack guy is costing them time. He is telegraphing his move and jumping up a bit before raising the car. A little more time at the gym and he can raise the car without the jump. Should be good for .05 of a second, right there.

    I missed that. Glad to know it.

    There are much worse announcers than Diffey and he knows his stuff, but I wish he had an "excitement" knob so they could turn him down a few notches. It's one thing to get genuinely excited from time to time but if you're at the top of your range all the time there's nowhere to go when something interesting happens.

    What with the potential for more tire changes needed per race now, I would love to see refueling come back with one BIG change.............make the refueling take at least twice as long as the tire change. This would eliminate a lot of the potential incidents with the refueling and would sure add a bit of drama to the races.
