For those who set DVRs for qualifying and want to watch how the first session went I'll not spoil it with details here, but Q1 is all they were able to run. Q2 and Q3 were postponed and will start something like 6 hours before the race.
Yup, plus related issues. NBCSP coverage of resumed qualifying is at 12:30am (E), so not live, and is set to run right up to the start of their pre-race show at 1:30am (E).
Again..... Wonder why they start each season so weak? Lewis is a genius for jumping ship? And poor Webba, just cannot get off the line.....
Enjoyed the race, not a yawner for sure. The feed from Bernie's video camera, & the studio stuff from NBC was done well.
Toward the end of the race I was having memories of whatever race that was last year when Raikkonen was doing great until his tires gave out and he dropped precipitously down the order in the closing laps. I've read a few quotes from non-Lotus people and I'm not the only person amazed at how long he went on those tires given all the trouble others had. It is almost ludicrous how many people are allow over the wall, they could easily reduce that in half and possibly make the pit stops more interesting...
