Yep, Webber was used and thrown away to get Vettel to the lead. Still love the quote from Webber after the British GP......"Not bad for a number 2 driver!"
Well if you can't win races then your the number 2. Maybe it's since he lost his motivation years ago, his words, he thinks whining can make him go faster.
Actually me thinks Ferrari has bent over backwards to give Massa a chance to recover his career when one considers that back in the day when Enzo was running things, Ferrari would have given him their sympathy but moved forwards never to look back.... Massa's failure to be consistently quick again lays squarely upon his shoulders.... Well done Ferrari......now build a prancing horse that Alonso and Kimi can ride to the front next year.
Seen on a British Mini forum: How much Hamilton respects Vettel..... And for the Kimi fans, a good quote from a Chris Harris article on why Vettel isn't liked: Vettel: Tell Me I'm Wrong
CNN has a really cool interactive tour of the Ferrari steering wheel. Image thanks to Autoweek. See http://www.cnn.com/2013/10/17/sport/motorsport/f1-steering-wheel-interactive/index.html
That was a good read. He mentions Federer and I believe someone else has mentioned Tiger in this thread. Could part of the reason that these three are treated different be do to the nature of their sports? Federer is dealing with one opponent at a time, while there are other players working their way through the brackets to reach the finals. Take away the leaderboard and you wouldn't neccesarily know who is winning a golf tournament since they are not all playing the same hole at the same time. With Seb, it is obvious when he is dominating a race.
Truth...but than again, Italy does have it's own fascist history... Good piece, now think about trying to navigate all that on the wheel whilst trying to chase down Vettel in the midst of an F1 race........
Alonso claiming the new points record??? Tell me again when he does it using the old scoring method. The points record with half the new system and half the old is meaning less.
^^^ I was just reading that in the iPad and thinking, No wonder they are not on the schedule for 2014. To much drama before they even get to the track.
