Yes pick up & lots of it. They drive off line & pick up as much of that dead rubber as they can to make sure the car makes the minimum weight for post race inspection.

Great news on a commercial free season of F1. Thanks Scott!

That didn't stop TSN in Canada from putting commercials in during the race. But glad the end of the race was commercial free.

Yep, you're right...though it sure looks like Vettel's tires are a lot more degraded/marbly than Bottas. Maybe he was more worried about making weight...

Regarding the marbles... agree but I would have to be able to see more pics. If you look at the front tires, they are chafing. It does look like to me his tires were done. They look pitted to me. The car next to it - the fronts look cleaner. Granted could be camera angle. The rear is clearly picking up marbles.

Mr Buxton is at it again - You will probably have too watch this at YouTube’s Site or in their app - they don’t like embedded video.

Ferrari lost the race because of a too slow pit stop.....2,8 sec is TOO SLOW! :)

I was laughing at someone considering a 2.8 sec pit stop as slow........a 2.8 second anything is hardly slow! :)

Yea - wasn’t it Perez who also had this reputation for a little while? That said, he does have skills.. if a team can digest the learning curve IMO.

In some ways I like that, but in some ways it could get really distracting. I get “why” for the halo.. and I prefer it over enclosed I think... that said I love prototype racing.. which is enclosed and can look better.

Max Verstappan has a huge amount of talent. The trouble is he is in a car that is not a front runner on a consistent basis. His youth makes him take chances trying hail marry passes. When they work he's the hero, when they don't he's the new Maldonado. Given enough time & a front running car he'll be winning on a regular basis. My .02.
