@Zapski - assume by your post you are using the app. I’m way behind this season... which I hear is great. Does the app allow you to watch previous races?

The races can only be watched in a browser, not the app, but it does work in Safari on iOS.

They do have the past races up for this year, EXCEPT for Baku, for some reason. For Baku, they only have a Highlights reel, and an extended Highlights reel (about 30 minutes). Also they post the race winners under the race replays and spoil the results. I find that very annoying.

For this weekend, at this moment they only have highlights of FP1 and FP2 (though yesterday they had the full sessions up) and today they have the full replay of FP3 and Qually.

I’m not sure what the deal is with not keeping the full replays of the practice sessions up, but it seems that it is all still very early stages, and that they’re working out the bugs - which is fine, for now.

I’m planning on doing my normal routine with the race tomorrow, and not counting on being able to stream the replay in full on Monday just in case. Also, the live streams are terrible at the moment - constant buffering.

The cable feed on ESPN2 worked well. Recorded & watched later.

Going to be a good race.

Seemed like a fairly typical F1 race where there was a wreck in first couple corners and the initial leader of the pack wins the race.

The race wasn't even on cable TV in my area. Pre-empted by hockey. Okay, I like hockey, but pre-empting every sports channel with the IIHF tournament (which few in Canada really care about anyways) is overkill.

Yea it’s usually a follow the leader.... sometime someone get some balls and makes a pass or good run. Either way, I wouldn’t change the race. To historic.

Funny how when they win.. all good. But when they dont.. sucks. However, once the race is done, they just go back to their house in Monaco... so they don’t have to pay I come tax. Lol..

For some reason, I have a sneaking suspicion Mercedes has been sand-bagging a bit and will turn up the wick again in the second half. I'm not sure Vettel and Ferrari can win the title this year. He (Vettel...actually along with some questionable Ferrari strategy calls) seem to have a brain fart at key parts of a race from time to time. I don't seem to remember a lot of these type of mistakes in Vettel's Red Bull days.

I would like to see Toro Rosso show Red Bull how much better the Honda motor is over Renault's.

I think Benz will have their work cut out for them to win the championship this year. It's a tight fight & it has been great so far. I didn't see Ferrari's loss being due to bad strategy this time. Vettel was held up by Sainz & had a slow stop. That was enough for Bottas to get in front of him. Bottas was doing a great job & would have finished 2nd if his tires hadn't fallen off the cliff. Bottas had bad luck that gave the red cars good luck.

I was surprised to see Gasley finish so high. Maybe Honda is starting to figure it out?

Ricciardo had the drive of the race.

Yes, both Kimi and Vettel lost the race in the pits this time.....

I agree about the Honda motor - the combination of a team that works with the engine supplier instead of dictating to them or having them dictate to the race team means they will have a decent chance of success together.

The Honda has shown promise all season, but mostly on shorter slower tracks, I think when they get to the fast tracks like Monza and Spa the high HP teams will be ahead again. But they're leagues ahead of where they were with McLaren.

Ricciardo sticking with Renault engines by signing with the Renault team for next season. This is getting interesting.

Who will team up with Mad Max?

I think it may be Sainz. I sure hope Ricciardo did not do an Alonso & move to a team with no chance. Makes me wonder if he moved to get away from having to drive a Honda engined car.
