You’d think with all the subscription fees and sponsorship money that they’d get Ted a laptop that wasn’t made between 2006 and 2008. Seriously, 2008 is the absolute latest version of that model.
Curious about F1 tech and want it explained by a Brit that sounds smart and injects a bit of humor. Formula 1 broadcasting has a bit of a... formula to it. Not least, the overly pretentious, ultra-poetic intro video.
Those in Canada can watch all the F1 races this season on TSN....they say. https://www.tsn.ca/formula-one-racing-on-tsn-1.187712 However, if it is like last year, most of the races will be pre-empted by other "sports" and F1 races will be bumped to TSN4, which requires purchase of additional cable packages. Honestly, I had no idea that poker tournaments at 5:00am outranked F1 races as a sporting event in my area.
You ever watched the Euro feed? IMO way better.. but that is just me. That said I do DVR it also just im case
I have really enjoyed the UK broadcasts of the races, but now with the US getting the Sky feed we are going to get the UK commentators also.

Formula One has pushed back the start of a new television streaming service which it had hoped to launch in Australia this weekend.
I HATE THE NEW COVERAGE!!!!!!!!! Ok i feel a little better........but damn. If they are going to not have the commentators do a commercial break then don't show the F'ing commercials!!! How many track issues happened during the breaks and we got no idea what the hell happened. Anyone got a source for race torrents/downloads?
The ESPN broadcast sucked. Pre-race started with just a shot of the track and no audio, then cut to a commercial only to return to the same thing, then switch to some E:20 sports show. What the heck? During the race they cut away to a basketball commercial just as the Haas cars are encountering their problems. I miss the NBC Sports coverage and can’t wait until F1 TV comes on and I can just cut out all the crap.
This makes me wonder if F1 screwed up the feed to push folks to F1's paid streaming service. Not a good race by any means today. I'm sure it will get better. At least I hope so. Fingers crossed.
