I'm so jealous. Had wanted to attend but $$$ and 60 working days till retirement. My first GP was in 1971 Barcelona Spain still in High School great time. The padlock was a grassy lot and you clould walk right up to the cars. JPS won and Mario caught fire across from me during the race.
I have being at F1 on Rio 1987, just a dream. Feel bad because Senna was on yellow Lotus Camel. McLaren and the professor were perfect. A lots of great names Alain Prost, Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansel, Michele Alboreto, Gehard Berger, Stefan Johanssen, Eddie Cheever (USA). Nelson Piquet should have won with Williams but w not newse screw up him on warm up lap, because we Brazilian fans throw up a lots of shreded paper (confeti) on the warm up lap and some got stuck on the Nelson's Williams radiator and he has to stop to clean the radiator, Prost took over. Lotus Camel seems a broken car. McLaren shifting on the back strech was just a perfection. I remember how on the edge Michele Aboreto was driving the Ferrari. And Prost was boring PERFECT. Nelson Piquet was pissed off with Brazilian fans like he always been no news on that (before, during and after race). And Senna was already a Hero for us (pride). Good memories.
So here is what you get for a lot of $$$: Tickets for two for the entire weekend Hospitality suite on Saturday And Sunday Lanyards to carry everything Ear plugs To be continued
Nice. I look for ya when you get into town on Thursday. Don't be too suprised if you see my ugly mug at your gate.
Obviously you have never been to a modern F1 race.........those things wail! And in my opinion they sound like crap.......
Yeah. Compared to an F1 race (or any other) and AC/DC concert would be akin to a book club discussion.
